Of course we all want our significant others to think we look good, but when it comes to our hair, makeup, and clothing choices, is he always in mind? Women's fashion is a funny thing because a lot of the time, trends are meant for other women's approval, not men's. Sometimes they just don't get it, or they plain and simply don't like it. So what do you do —only wear what he likes? Of course there's always an exception to the rule but ladies, tell me, when you shop for new clothes, do you have your significant other's tastes in mind?

1sometimes for me (or others
Yeah I sometimes dress for him. He really likes it when I wear skirts. Wonder why
lol

2But it's just more comfortable for me to wear jeans and a tshirt since I'm in college and going all over campus everyday!
My boyfriend and I only get a chance to see each other once or twice a month, so dressing for him isn't that big of a deal. That said, times when he surprises me with a visit (like this Monday!) and I have about 15 minutes warning, I usually don't have time to. Which is actually when he tends to compliment me, so maybe I should calm down.
3I dress more for myself, but I do like to look nice for my husband. Especially on date night!
4I dress for myself mainly, but I do occasionally dress for my boyfriend/others too. My boyfriend doesn't "get" some things I wear, but I just tell him to trust me, it's awesome, and he goes along with it anyway. I bought some of those American Apparel latex leggings that I'm wearing on a birthday night out with all our friends soon, and he's like, are you serious? I told him he doesn't yet realize the awesomeness of my outfit.
5I do pick cute clothes to wear when I know he and I are going to see each other, and I am not all that trendy...so most of the clothes I have look good on me, and that is why he likes them. I do ask him about my hair though before I get it cut/highlighted/whatever. The first time I cut it, he was into long hair...but now he is in to short hair
6Where is the option for not dressing for him and not being a clothes horse?
I dress for comfort and I wear what I like. My boyfriend couldn't care less.
And I certainly don't care what other women think of my clothes.
7I like wearing sexy stuff. He prefers I wear nothing.
8Really, I can wear anything, he always thinks I look cute
i've always joked that if i let my guy pick out my clothes.. id end up looking trampy. sometimes they just have a different idea of what "sexy" is.
that said, i dress for myself and wear things that make me happy. luckily, no complaints from him so far
9i just wear whatever i feel best in though when i go out with the boy i do try to dress a little for him but main thing is that i feel comfortable. that being said i feel comfortable going out in opaques and a dress shirt cinched at the waist...
10I dress for him if we are going out on a date.... but if we are just hanging out he gets the normal fashion victim me! hahaha he loves me regardless!
11His favorite outfit is my birthday suit. But I can't very well go out like that. I wear whatever I want and he seems to like all of it.
12totally agree with ThePerfectScore. Only really dress especially for him if we are doing something together/I wanna surprise him. However normally its comfort all the way!
13i always have him in mind.... but sometimes I'm wrong. Haha. I'll buy an outfit sometimes, thinking he'll love it, and he won't. I bought these AWESOME boots once.... and I got compliments from tons of my girlfriends.... but my boyfriend really didn't like them.
Oh well. =D
14Well, I normally try to buy cute clothes anyway...I figure that if I'm still young enough to get away with all the styles and crazy stuff that's out there, might as well do it.
However, I tend to be very self conscious...especially when it comes to how much I'm
revealing on the top end.
The part I like about my husband though, is that he'll tell me if something doesn't look quite right when I get dressed. He'll nicely suggest a different pair of jeans or a shirt...not in a mean way at all.
But most of the time he would prefer me in some skimpy pajamas
anyway...lol!
15Women dress for other women~
16I don't dress for him? He doesn't dress for me.
I dress for me.. in what I find comfortable.. If we're going out on a date night I'll wear something he'll like.. Because I think it's fun that way..
I have a hoodie that he absolutely loves.. I have no idea why.. But it makes him nuts.. So I wear it to tease him
17I like ur profile pic Sun_Sun. Which cartoon is it?
18I would never wear something that I didn't like just be cause he liked it, but I also wouldn't wear something he hated! I love to have him pick out outfits for me!
19A little of both but mostly for myself.
20For both. I dress to make myself feel good but I try to wear things that we will both like.
21most of the time, when we go out, it's for him!
22if it's lazy clothes, it's for me!
My hair and make-up is me territory ... but I do keep his distaste for trapeze dresses and basically anything that doesn't show off my tiny waist in mind when I go shopping. Though I love dressing like Twiggy, I let him have his look at me in gut-sucking outfits.
23My boyfriend is out of town and I just got this feeling like: "I am going to dress up like crazy tonight!" I think I do tone my crazy experimental side down for him, when I was single I was all about trying new looks. I think I should experiment more, I know he likes me by now, even in my "garish" leopard print leggings. Haw.
24If I dressed for him all the time I would look like a tramp 24/7. haha. During the week while at work I dress for myself and at home/weekends I mostly dress for him.
25i buy clothes that i like, i don't factor him in. no guy has ever complained about the way i dress. if they had it their way we'd be wearing skirts and low-cut tops all the time. and occasionally i will indulge in that
26well. i dress for me however, i do have his opinion in the back of my mind when i go shopping. good thing because he is very fashionable.
27He likes me in everything, clothed or naked.
I don't have to put any special effort into dressing for him; I just have to show up. So I guess this question is not squarely applicable to me.
28My boyfriend says he wants me to go out naked, and when I agree, he says he wouldn't actually like that because he's afraid I might get stolen away. I think he just says that to flatter me, though. My boyfriend likes sexy tops, but he HATES shorts and skirts. He says he doesn't understand why people wear them, and just to please him, I wore jeans to Disneyland, Sea World and the San Diego Zoo...During the summertime and springtime...AGH!
I've dragged him shopping sometimes, and when I pick out things, he doesn't like most of them...Which is weird because they're the same style of clothes I already have, and which he has complimented! I think he has a bigger preference for how I wear my hair than my wardrobe, though.
29It's about a 50/50 split. He likes the weirdest things and they don't always look great on.
30I always dress for myself because my sense of style is just too picky. My b/f happens to think I look good in the selective outfits I choose, so it works out!
