dang I only got 1 right - not surprised though, I really knew nothing about Cinco de Mayo... but this information will come in handy at our dinner table tonight. I can educate the children while we feast on our Cinco de Mayo themed dinner

I learned about Cinqo de Mayo and Juneteenth after moving from the East to the West coast.

funny how Cinco de Mayo is becoming like St. Patrick's Day - nothing more than a reason to get drunk and a generalized celebration in our popular culture. It's not even celebrated that much in Mexico!

however, i'll drink one up for my Mexican cousins tonight.

I never understood what Cinco de Mayo had to do with us? If Napoleon III had won, would he have then marched north through Texas? I don't mind because I love tequila, but why not Bastille Day or St. Swithin's Day?

Well I'm a quarter Mexican and a quarter Spanish so half of me is in conflict with it's self while the other two quarters Anglo and African Amer. are taking a breather.

I think it's fun to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. You can celebrate the fun and wonderful things Mexico has given us. Queso, tequila, enchiladas, burritos, mmmm!
