3.5 years, until we were married. Looking back, I think waiting was a little ridiculous.

To be honest, I didn't even want to wait with my current boyfriend because I was so attracted to him ... but it was 3 months into the relationship before we went down that path. I wouldn't change that decision at all.

I waited six months with the first guy i ever dated and six months with the guy i am with currently. i have done sooner with others. i think it wont hurt if you wait , yet some may say what the heck.if you are thinking long term i think its worth the wait and work on other things like really getting to know the person.besides i think it cuts down on the list of "I slept with".

Well, with one of my ex's that I dated for 2 yrs, I slept with him the first night. My ex of three years I waited a week or so--I didn't think it would end up a long term so I didn't wait too long--and my boyfriend now was about 1 week or so--I don't think we could have waited any longer--the tension was right up there the moment we met.

With my hubby, I waited maybe around 2 months or so...but that was because I was technically with someone else and I needed to end that relationship before I even got remotely physical with my hubby. And come this July, we'll have been married for 3 years.

Uhhh 2nd/3rd date and my first serious boyfriend uhhhh 5mnths.

My fiance is a firm believer in waiting until marriage, so I have yet to sleep with him. We've been together a little over 2 years. That's definitely the longest I've ever waited to sleep with someone.

With my first boyfriend, whom i lost my virginity to (aww), I waited three years. Then after that, with my current man, I waited one week. I found that after you finally do it the first time, and get used to being in a sexual relationship, it's hard not to do it soon after you start dating other guys.

i've only had one partner- my husband, and we waited until we got married. it was about 2 1/2 years, and it was REALLY hard to be that patient. i think it was worth it though.

Shortest: one month; longest: a year and counting.

Longest - 18 months (he was a christian, but I swayed him... wasn't worth it!)
Shortest - 6 hours (with current boyfriend but we've known each other for 2 years)

The longest I have waited was a month with my now husband. We fell in love right away. The shortest, well that doesn't matter anymore because I'm with the man I love.

I slept with my husband the night we met. I picked him up in a bar in our tiny little town and the rest is history!

I've only ever been with my hubby, and we waited until we got married, which was exactly a year after we met. I'm glad we waited, but that's easy to say now that we've been married for two years...it was really difficult!

I've only been with one guy (and still with him! 5 1/2 years now!!) We waited 8 months. We were young though!

Erm... ok. With my boyfriend, my first, only, and current, we waited... about 5-10 minutes after deciding to become "official". We had our first official date the following night.
To be perfectly fair, we were "kind of" together for three months before that.
I admit, I do regret it slightly, because I had to persuade him a bit--he was terrified that I'd get pregnant the moment we did it, even with me on the pill and him wearing a condom and he didn't even finish. But I've apologised, he's forgiven me, and we're still together (and I've still gone unimpregnated) two years later, so it's all good.

The shortest length of time was the first date (oops) and the longest for me was about a year (I was only 15 when I started dating him and wanted to wait until I was 16).

I'm still still waiting...3.5 years, but he's my first boyfriend and I want to wait until I'm married. I must say though compared to my other friends, I'm glad we're waiting. It seems like there is a lot more strain on my friends relationships and when they break it's ten times worse since they have left something with that other person.

14 months. The amount of time from the first date with my husband til our honeymoon. He's been my one and only.

I do remember the waiting being nearly impossible, but then the honeymoon was indescribable!

Of course, I haven't slept with many people, so I don't feel like this is a set pattern for me.

Um 6 months... but I mean he was my 1st and only everything... I highly doubt he will be my last... so I will keep you posted on any future occurrences haha

Shortest- 3 weeks, longest, 2.5 years.

It's really dependent on how the relationship is progressing, I suppose.

The longest was 2.5 years with my first boyfriend. Now with my husband I think we waited about a month.

My shortest and longest is 15 days after we first met. Our sexiversary is also our anniversary and we've been together for 2 years and 7 months since then.

I've slept with guys the first night I met them - but most did not end up in a relationship. It was a one night stand or sometimes a sex buddy sort of thing. But with my recent ex, I slept w/ him on the first night and now I wish I would have waited. I dont know if the outcome of our relationship would have been different, but I feel it could have help. But whats done is done. The longest I have waited was about a month.
