It sounds like they're trying to say, "It really is good. Honest. Really, just try it!" That's about as bad as going to a place that just has the name "An eatery" on the front. If you need a
sign for a restaurant telling you what you're supposed to do when you're there. That's bad.
Traditionally, when an establishment uses words in this manner, they are attesting that they are quoting favorable comments made about their place. It's been done forever.

4There's a place in the Italian Market here in Philly that has a sign that says "Best Meatballs" in Philadelphia. That always makes me suspicious.
