Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW) piggybacked on the World Wrestling Federation's (WWF) widespread success in the '80s. The show catered to the WWF's predominantly male fan base by pitting minimally dressed, "gorgeous" women against each other and having them wrestle for resolve. In addition to perpetuating sexist attitudes and shameless stereotypes, the show made an absolute mockery of female strength. Our proven brawn in other arenas didn't count. How convenient.

I used to watch this every Saturday morning with my dad when I was little. We LOVED it!
1This show was horrible and completely degrading to women.
Palestina was my favorite. SHE WAS SO EVIL!
