In my own experience, I’ve always found my instincts to be right on on the money. In fact, I've come to realize that ignoring my instincts can really lead me astray. While it definitely takes some practice, I’m learning to trust them no matter what — even if it means going against other people’s opinions. When it comes to making decisions, do you trust your instincts?

Just four days ago, I let my heart decide where I would go to college. All the pro-con lists pointed to another school, but...I just felt it, somewhere inside! I think I made the right choice.
1Like Lunulae, I chose which college to attend based on my gut rather than following the advice of my family (my biggest influence for every major decision before then), or going to the more convenient location (cheaper and closer). I really had no idea at the time if I was making a good choice, but 5 years later I'm so glad I did.
2Yes ..... I always have and I always will.
3Nope, my instincts are bad. When I do the opposite of my instincts, I am successful.
4heck yes.
5Well, I didn't know which one my answer fitted in.
6Sometimes I have good ones, other times I don't...
100%
7I would say yes, but the answer "Yes — My instincts rarely, if ever, lead me astray." didn't fit me so I'd say other. I trust my instincts much too much, I wouldn't say it has lead me astray, but it has produced equal wonderful to equal disastrous results. When the disaster comes, I end up trying to mix rationality and instinct, but once it gets easier, I get back to instinct which can have results at both end of the spectrum
8My instincts usually tell me not to trust myself, but my instincts are often wrong, I never know what to do!
9Yes! And thank you God for giving me good instincts.
They have saved my little butt on
many occasions.
10All I need is a few minutes or less with someone, and I can have them figured out. My instincts let me know who to trust, who to stay away from, and when I make decisions, my instincts make me more cautious.
11Yes 100%
12i should trust them more, because whatever i feel ends up coming true all the time...if i trusted them more i wouldn't waste so much time worrying
13Well most of the time I do tend to go with my gut...but I wouldn't say I'd trust 100% of the time.
14I don't really have instincts often. At all. I think I'm just constantly thinking, so even if I had an instinct of any sort, my head would squash it before I even knew what it was.
15it definitely requires some practice of trusting, and correctly reading your instincts
16Always!
17Hell Yeah!
18Yea I do. I think instincts are just your brain telling you what situations are bad and where you should go in life. Its that part of you that knows what is best for you in life.
