The following vid features two scantily-clad divas bouncing for themselves (and Internet thrill seekers worldwide) in a mirror with a web cam rolling. The net has become a breeding ground for public displays of shameless narcissism, so big whoop — right? What I find so disturbing is that these BFFs look like they could be popping bubble gum and passing notes in junior high. Despite their obvious youth, the vid is now viral and everyone is watching. Is Internet popularity compelling these underage chicks to flaunt their goods? Or something else? I want to know: Where did we go wrong?

The whole Miley Cyrus thing is pretty dumb. Pictures like that have existed for so long. I've seen plenty of photo portfolios where little kids have been draped in togas and sheets for artsy shots. People are just picking on Miley because she's a celeb, while no one seems to have noticed that every other picture she took for Vaniety Fair was pretty goofy.
1All of the above? Inattentive parents? Excessive access to technology? This whole craze sickens me.
2Oh gosh it feels so wrong to watch that! Those girls can't be older than 15!
3Ditto sweetpea!
4Tilla Tequilla - ahhh my sweet sweet love
5I agree, there should've been an "all of the above" option. I still think MTV is mostly to blame, though!
6all of the above.. blame MTV..lol!
7agreed, def all of the above!
if they just wait a few years they can go out and shake and flaunt their stuff as much as they want at the clubs rather than looking back on some silly video that the posted on the internet (that may have seemed funny at the time) and knowing that a bazillion people watched you and your jailbait friend dance around a bathroom. but then again, that's just me :/ there is a limit for fun and i hope these ladies will grow up and realize that their worth lies in their self-respect, talents, dreams, and goals rather than fall into the roles as sexualized objects. it is possible to grow up into sexy and confident woman without starring in a racy youtube video or myspace photo and sadly this phenomenon is not apparent enough. they are still young and these lapses in judgment are somewhat expected. i just hope they learn from their experiences
8i love what you said artsy
9yeah it's really all of the above. so sad.
10yep, all of the above.
11all of the above
