I’m going to come clean: Sometimes when I’m bored, I look up my exes on Facebook and MySpace just to lurk around their pages and see what’s new. It’s not one of my best habits, but what can I say, I’m imperfect — and a tad bit nosy. I never make contact with them, and I have no interest in ever seeing them again, but I guess I just like to stay in the know. I may be biased, but I consider this kind of curiosity totally innocent. Do you agree? Ladies, do tell, do you ever check out social networking sites to keep track of your exes?

I also look up my exes and old friends (and they look me up too, it seems,) and it is totally innocent. What so wrong about wanting to know what's going on and the lives of those you cared about once?
i've done it once....pointless
I think it IS pretty innocent, but I personally have no interest in seeing if my exes are on websites that I'm also on. For me, the past is the past and I like things to stay there!
I recently saw one of my exes on a mutual friends' buddy list and it freaked me out...I didn't want to see his page and I instantly panicked that he'd try to look at mine.
I'm all set!
you do it once or twice and then you realise its a waste of time but everyone gets curious!
My exes either don't have any pages I can look at or we are still friends. I think it's innocent because they make their pages public for people to see. No harm.
well those sites are there mostly so people can stay connected, or reconnect with people from the past so i dont see why it would be a problem. as long as youre not like creeping their facebook every day or several times a day seeing who theyre talking to and what they did that day and like.. anything creepy like that really:P
No I don't but I am kinda interested now.
haha ye ai do- i'm nosy. of course i look for old friends and such as well! but yea i'm curious everyonce in a while as to what they look like now and what they are up to!
Yeah..I do it. I'm nosy
I look up old friends, ex's, basically anyone I can think of! haha
Brittany....me too...I am so nosy! I look up my bf's exes and we've been dating FIVE years. But one of his exes has been married and divorced twice in that time, before she was 22, so it was totally worth it! It's better than reading celebrity gossip!
And here I was thinking I was the only one! I feel so stalkerish afterwards though.
I think that unless you check his profile every day or so it's totally harmless and not stalker-ish or anything.
sadly, yes. i have definitely looked up old flames on facebook. i agree that its pointless, but i do it anyways!
I've had a few look me up and it was amusing to see their pages but as far as my free time I'd rather give myself a mani than look them up.
I use social networking websites to keep track of my friends only, and avoid my exes like the plague - I hear enough about them through my friends in my everyday life.
i've goolged them. one of them's older sister is now cfo of one of the biggest corporations in the world. i loved the whole family, great people. he just wasn't the one for me. i was happy that they all seem successful and, well got their happy endings
i wont lie. i do. but its mostly to see 'wow he's still with the troll he cheated on me with, i'm so much happier with jim ((my finace)) im so glad i didn't persue anything more with him type of gratification i get from it.
I've looked up my ex and wife a few times. Their daughter got his blue eyes.
i love to see how they've changed since i met them, but i've been married so long it's mostly if i'm feeling nostalogic!
I've done it! I don't see any harm in it. I say go for it sister! In fact, I'm logging into Facebook right now...
no but i know many who do. i have googled the ex.
um, yeah, i definitely do this
