While we're desperately waiting for some conclusive results, here are some scraps of info coming from the internet and those notoriously unreliable exit polls. Eat it up wit' Whiz!
- Wonkette is watching every single cable channel all at once so you don't have to!
- Huffington Post says exit polls are splitting on gender lines Women: Clinton 55; Obama 44; Men: Clinton 47; Obama 53.
- According to the Associated Press women and older voters came out in force, encouraging signs for Hillary Clinton.
- Politico reports that Obama is preparing to spin loss as a victory.
- Exit polls from ABC found two-thirds of Pennsylvania voters in preliminary exit poll results say Clinton attacked Obama unfairly; fewer, but still about half, also say Obama unfairly attacked Clinton.
- The New York Times says turnout could be at least double the 26 percent recorded in the 2004 primary.

I think that Hillary will win, but only by 9-12%. Since the delegates are portioned by district, and Obama will most likely win the more populated areas, I don't see her winning enough delegates to overcome the 140 more that he has over her by a long shot. She might net an additional 25-40, but he will still have a 100+ lead over her.
She will try to spin it that her win means something big, but unless she pulls off the 20% win margin she needs, it won't change the overall race at all.
I think the real story will be how well Obama has overcome the 20 point lead she had over him last month.
1i'm in pa and my vote was for obama, but i agree 100% with jillness. i go to penn state, so i think a lot of my demographic of college students favored obama, but i think that hillary is going to win the pa primary..
although, doesn't philly have the largest impact? which is urban and i'm sure more likely that obama will win

9I just heard on NPR that the amount of points she wins by will be about the number of the delegates she will win (more than Obama). For example, if she wins by 10%, she will get 8-10 more delegates than him. That makes his 140 delegate lead seem pretty huge!
I will be happy when the primary process is over, and when democrats will be able to unite around one candidate.
10I agree Jillness. I can't wait for us to unite. You can't begrudge the Hillary fans a small celebration though.
11Sadly, Harmony, I don't think it's going to unite the party which leads me to believe we're in for four more years of a failed economy, weakening dollar and stale ideas.
12Rac...you may be right. The problem is that the country isn't happy with Obama. Half the country is, but the other half is clearly looking for another option. We are just going to have to ride this out and hope for the best.
13More the country isn't happy with Hillary, though.
