On the eve of the big rumble in PA, Barack Obama joined Jon Stewart via satellite for a kind of serious discussion — by Daily Show standards anyway. I kept trying to see if Jon had Larry King hiding under his desk feeding him questions. If you're a fan, you'll dig it. It's a two-parter — the giggles come at the end of each.
Oh, and to see what Obama would sound like selling cell phones, (I know you're all dying to know!) read more.
What do you think? I say fun, but it's probably no Colbert Bump!

Edie Brickell! Too funny.
1I LOVE Jon Stewart, and this was a classic Daily Show Interview. I liked it much better than the Hillary Clinton interview a few weeks ago.
2I love Edie Brickell!
I just heard on the news that 43% of young people say they form their opinion on who to vote for from the likes of the Daily Show and Colbert...
That is TERRIFYING.
3That IS terrifying!
These are not real news shows people!
4It's all "what do I feel" instead of "come, let us reason together."
People use feelings where they might want to consider using reason and wisdom.
Scary.
5did anyone see Hilary's WWE commercial? I pretty much felt embarrassed for her...But I was too busy laughing my butt off
6"I just heard on the news that 43% of young people say they form their opinion on who to vote for from the likes of the Daily Show and Colbert...
That is TERRIFYING."
Terrifying, but not surprising.
7That was pretty funny.
In re: to side debate, I don't think emotions should be entirely discounted when making decisions. Our gut reactions and instinct provide valuable information and should not be overlooked.
8Sadly, I think Stewart and Colbert have been just as informative as the Democratic debates here of late...which is to say, they haven't been.
9I don't know that I would say it's terrifying. "Real news show people" aren't always as objective as they should be and don't always report everything. I think Colbert and Stewart deal with "real news" in a funny, more relatable way. It's not like they're making up stories about the candidates...
