Flip flops, definitely. Flip flops in general can ruin an outfit. I would only wear them on the beach. to avoid getting sand in my regular shoes.

See, okay. At least flip flops can be REMOTELY justified. Like, "we're both hippie/bohemian types."

I would say sneakers because at least the flip flops will somewhat blend in. They are both seriously tacky though.

I agree with Kazagirl! At my friends wedding her sister had to wear sneakers because of her really bad knees, but they weren't as ugly as these!

My sister wore flip-flops (it was an outdoor, casual, summer wedding) but they were really dainty and white.

I don't know, dootsie... I figured it was justifiable the other way. At least with the sneakers, it's an excuse for comfortable shoes... the flip flops are trying too hard to be cute.

I can just hear the bride coming down the aisle with those flip flops on her feet... that icky sound they make when walking lol..
Both are tacky - but for the sake of the poll I chose the flip flops.

Both are god-awful, but I chose the flip-flops due to the noise. I desperately tried to talk my best friend out of changing out of her shoes into ffs for the reception. I gave in when she offered the idea of wearing white leather cowboy boots to both the ceremony and reception instead. During her first dance one of her ffs ended up getting caught in the hem of her dress (since it was hemmed for her heel hight, not ff height) and she ended up flat on her back on the dance floor. I love her to death, but I so wish she had stayed in her shoes!

at least with the shoes you can change the laces.

I didn't vote because they are both horrendous! Since when is it OK to wear sneakers OR flip flops to a formal and maybe even black tie event? Eek!

ughh sooo bad! theyre both horrible but i think the sneakers are worse. at least you could MAYBE get away with flipflops at a beach wedding or something? it would still be tacky but not like sneakers. sad thing is that i can see like the emo generation wearing these to their future weddings. ew.

ew, both are terrible. I cannot vote, b/c they are both just tacky, tacky, tacky. The only reason I would agree to have a wedding instead of eloping (which I would totally prefer) is so I can justify buying some strappy silver jimmy choos or platform loubs. I don't care what my dress looks like--I'm just interested in the shoes.

those flip flops would be great for the honeymoon

BOTH ARE AWFUL. I think it would be okay to wear really beautiful flat flips flops in like gold or silver if it were a beach wedding . . . . . But both of the pictured shoes are really ugly!!!!!!!!! I wouldn't wear them any day of the year, and certainly not at my wedding.

The SNEAKERS are ALWAYS awful.... at least the flip flops are okay for a beach wedding.

But SNEAKERS at a WEDDING should ALWAYS be a NO!

Both are terrible! Suck it up and wear the fab shoes for a few hours then just take them off!

There's no excuse, there are plenty of well made, lovely, cute, proper bridal heels out there.
