I didn't vote but my answer is "Other." I cried at a movie last night but I don't remember the last time I cried for real.

I cried twice this weekend. I was PMSing and my boyfriend kept breaking things. First, we were parking outside a store that had a HUGE curb and he totally dented by front bumper. Like ugly. I cried. Then then next day after repeatedly telling him NOT to use this one glass to water his plant he does it again then drops it and it breaks. It was a glass I bought from my niece's first trip to Disneyland, it's a Mickey St Patty's Day pint glass. It was special and now it's gone. Then this morning I found out my uncles mom, who was a great family friend, passed away Tuesday night.

Haha I cried at lunch!
Just with this whole buying a house, switching careers, and starting school my bf and me are super stressed out...but I am ok now

Today actually. My friend committed suicide last night...

The past few days have been VERY stressful!

I rarely cry, but welcome it when I do.

I'm a crier. I cry for various reasons, sadness, joy, frustration, compassion. I used to be embarrassed by it until someone once told me to never be embarrassed by it - tears are a gift. It's not like I go around crying all day - it's just that it doesn't take much to make me tear up and/or cry.

OMG. Sorry Nitro. Hope you will be okay. I only usually cry if my BF and I get in a fight or If I see a sad story on the news or a sappy movie.

About the poll, sometimes I'm really mad on myself for being such a crier for almost nothing ... I even cry during movies trailers ! (and I'm not very proud of that). But strangely sometimes I can be very sad and not being able to cry even a tiny tear.

I just cried a minute ago because I got into a fight with my sister. I'm always emotional when it comes to my family and my sister can bring me to tears easily.

I cried a ton these past two weeks because I am stubborn and tried to run through a knee injury. I ended up putting myself out for a long time. I worked so hard and was so close to my first marathon...

Other than that, I hadn't cried in a very long time.

About the poll... I cry over every little thing. I don't even know why--like, a couple weeks ago I got kicked out in the middle of my workout (I'm participating in an exercise study) because the lab was closed. I burst into tears over that, and I wasn't feeling sad or embarrassed or anything--somewhat annoyed that my routine was interrupted, but that's it.

As for the topic at hand, I don't really cry that often. I can't even remember the last time I cried! I handle most of life's ups and downs without tears.

I'm a BIG crier. I cry during commercials. But as for a good cry cause I'm actually sad about something in my life, it was last weekend. My BF is out of town working for a few months so I flew up to see him on the weekend and definitely cried when I left him.

I've cried a ton the past few months after breaking up with my boyfriend of three years...but now I'm very happy and hopefully won't cry for a long time unless it's because of a movie.

I did cry the other day, but it was because I was laughing so hard from some stupid video on youtube.

I've become quite the crier since having a baby. Before that, I never cried. But the last time? Yesterday. The baby is teething, she doesn't want to be put down and is WAY fussier than normal. The dinner I made was ruined. Then the dog came in all muddy after I had just cleaned the floors. Seriously, just cleaned them...like 10 minutes before. That was my breaking point.

My older brother jst got home frm afghanistan bout a week and half ago.. we live in sac, ca.. well his "girl" is frm tnnse. he knows everyone is my family dont like her because of how wrong she did him, and posted it all over myspace. well, he comes home, and 3 days later, she shows up at our house. i never faught her cause of the respect for my brother but still, wen your a sister frm a solider who is in battle while his "girl" is cheating on him and using him the whole time for his money, and you knew that, i think its just the isntict inside u that makes u want to just go off on her wen u see her.. well i tried doing that but my brother went off on me and ended up hurting my wrists. and still, never said he's sorry. well his dumb trick jst left yesterday back to tnnse. the whole time she was here, i never saw or spent time with my brother at all. besides wen he would come home to get food cuz he didnt have money to buy food for THEM. well as soon as his trick left, he calls mom to tell her he is leaving tomorow... to tennse. so my mom cancelled the party for him this weeknd and all she did was cry. i called him up, and he said it was all my fault that he didnt ger to spend time with any of the family because i was the only one with the problem with his piece of trash girl. sorry, but im not going to accept a female who did my brother wrong and still has the nerve to show up at our house wen she is not welcomed. well my brother left without saying goodbye.. didnt apologize, didnt say bye to dad, (witch my brother is my dad's pride) and he left to spend da rest of his leave with HER and now we wont see him again till nxt year.

THIS IS WHY I CRIED.

I cried last night. I was stressed out and just needed to let it out. I felt much better afterwards.

Lord, I cry on a daily basis. Never for long and rarely over anything serious. I'll get really frustrated and cry a little, but I always acknowledge later I was being silly. Today it was because I was having trouble making a left turn because of all the traffic haha. I just have been really stressed lately, so I break down easily.

I cry often, sometimes small things, like a commercial will trigger a cry, most of the time, I cry out of stress.
After I cry, I feel lighter and a bit more cheerful.

I cry all the freakin time. It's just how i am. I cried day before yesterday. And a couple days before that.

I broke up with my idiot bf a three weeks ago and I just realized I had never mourned over the loss. So over the weekend, I just cried myself silly. And now, I'm fine! Ok, not "fine" but I feel better. =)

I cried the other night watching Battlestar Galactica, i cried yesterday because i missed my cat, I am a cryer thats for sure

I am a total crier too, and I didn't used to be so I am so embarrassed about it! It's really really nice to see that 60% of us have cried in the past week, now I don't feel quite as silly.

Ha. All I need is a sick puppy or a sad song and I bawl.
My emotions are always on the surface; I can be delirious with joy just as easily. Guess that's what it means to be an arty person.

I cried like a fool while reading "Marley and Me." I actually had to put the book down, walk downstairs to the husband and ask for a hug, then I made my dog cuddle with me!

If you want a good cry, watch those Pedigree commercials that David Duchovny narrates. Oh my god, they are the saddest things I've ever seen.

First of all, Nitro, my condolences are with you! That's terrible and I'm so sorry.

I was PMSing last week and have been a little down since I've been out of school, missing my friends and living in a new place and I just couldn't hold it in.

I think that I cry at least once a month. Usually around my period. I have been under a lot of stress lately so maybe a little more than usual these days. It feels good to cry!

I cried a few weeks ago. It depends on my mood. Since the last few weeks have been good I haven't cried as much.

I have a little cry almost every week but its usually at stupid things like emotional moments on TV or in movies. I probably have a real cry every couple of months.

Eesh...I cry a lot. Lol. The movie "P.S. I Love You" crippled me on my flight back home. Kind of embarrassing with my co-workers glancing at me and laughing. I have a big heart. Hahaha!

it makes me feel so much better to know that i'm not the only one that cries at the drop of a hat! i cried just last night- i found out my husband has to go on a business trip for two weeks in may. he travels so much- and as of 2 days ago he was going to be home for the entire month of may! i was so excited because it's been a LONG time since he's been home for a whole month. well, not anymore! he's gone from may 5-16th. made me sad. and i'll probably cry today too.

I don't cry too often 'for real' but I bawl at the drop of a hat during movies/tv shows, sometimes when they're not even meant to be tear-jerker moments!!

I don't really remember when I actually cried, but this morning I was reading an article about a stray dog being starved all for the sake of "art" in Honduras. It certainly choked me up. There should really be an Environmental Sugar in this site...I would have a lot to talk about in that forum.
