Most boys nowadays play with mutant Transformers, hypermasculine G.I. Joe action figures, or plain ol' Legos, but back in the '80s, there was another boy toy on the market. The doll they called "My Buddy" defied all gender norms because it was designed to go where no doll had gone before — straight into the arms of a loving little dude. The doll had big, blue eyes, a button nose, a mane to brush, and a rainbow-colored shirt on his back. In other words, he was freaking awesome. But sadly, "My Buddy" lost momentum in the '90s and we haven't seen anything like him since. (That little freak Chucky doesn't count.)
