My highschool English teacher, Cathy Prater, changed my life and, in a way, saved my life. I didn't know anyone who had been to college; she encouraged me, helped me and, before I left, sent me a check for $500. She insisted I take it and told me a beautiful story about why she needed me to accept the gift. A remarkable, unforgettable woman.
2Wow, Dear. Sounds like an amazing person. We need more people like that aroun.
3I think it comes with being an English Teacher because i had the most wonderful high school AP english teacher ever!
4My 8 year old son. He's a trooper. He's lived through so much in his short life. He's smart, witty, and loving. He's also bi-polar so he gets the short shift at school from the kids. Through everything he's been through he's still an amazing kid. He was certainly not a planned part of my life, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I love him dearly and he's my hero!

my grandma, she is the most amazing woman in the world. she has always been my hero
I'd say my parents, because they always think of and act for other people before themselves. I hope one day I'll be in a position to give back to them.
7Definitely my older sister. She's always been a great example for me: working hard and getting a great education, settling down with a wonderful guy. She's had to do everyting before me in life so I've always looked up to her. I've also had a couple of wonderful teachers in highschool, ones that treated me like a real person and not just another student.

I can only base this off of right now -- and it might sound crazy -- but I really admire my yorkie -- he's been through a lot -- he got beat up, went through surgery on a rear leg, was given
away at 12 -- and he's still very sweet and caring. Yep, my pup is my hero
My mom and dad. As a couple they were a huge inspiration. They spent the first few months of their marriage in two different countries (air force), trying to find any way possible to be
together up until the point I came along and got her out of the military.
My mom, in her short 38 years, was a force to be reckoned with. She was a strong mother, a hard worker, fun to be around... she survived a long hard battle with pain and came out of it for a
few months to make memories with us before she died.
My dad has always been my hero. Sweet, caring, smart. We've been best friends since I was born.

My Mom and Dad, they are great parents.

Personally i think it's the women who are able to do it all. Be a success in their career and with their children and in the marriage. It's what i admire most and aspire to be one day!
