Oh, the innocence! It's so easy for me to fall under the spell of vintage toy advertising. This old commercial for Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head makes me want to run out and bedeck potatoes with eyes, ears, noses and hats! And I love the announcer's voice — even that sounds vintage.

1I had a Mr. Potato head when I was a kid, (with a plastic body) It wasn't very fun or anything, the only thing I remember about it is that all the little plastic pieces had a very strong plastic smell even years later
