1I would rather run into my ex too. I would play it off and who cares I have a great guy now!
2I'd rather run into my ex as well, but if I didn't have to choose, I wouldn't give a sh*t if I ran into either one of them, because I don't care enough about what other people think of me.

6same, i'd rather run into my ex. what cvan said is totally true-- they will be too busy sizing up your guy to notice a less than perfect appearance, while the ex-gf will judge every little detail.

11I'd rather run into HIS ex. I mean, sure I'd rather be fabulous in front of her, too, but I don't care too much about what some stranger thinks. Especially if she is supposedly "picture perfect" I doubt I could compare to that even if I went all out. But my ex hurt me so bad that I want him to have nothing but regret. I doubt I'll ever run into him again b/c he lives several states away, but if I do I want to look amazing.

it's different with girls. we always want to look better than the other woman, and if she's looking amazing and i look like i just rolled out of bed, that's just not going to bode well for me - even if my boy loves how i look.
17Well since my bf and I have successfully now run into all of my exs (minus one that lives in another state), the awkwardness is over, so I'm going to go with MY ex. I'd probably fall over if we ran into one of his exes. I try to pretend they don't exist.

I would rather run into his ex definitely; just the fact that he is comfortable with me enough to be out with me dressed like that would hopefully prove to her that he really loves me!
24I'd rather running into my ex- even if I look crap, I'm still running into him when I'm with a hot new guy. Plus he would have already seen me looking less than perfect. Running into his ex just gives her ammunition to b*tch about to her friends.
25I always feel worse when an ex has a really ugly new girlfriend. Feels like he has really low standards.
26I care more about what men think of me than women (that sounds horrible I know). I know women are catty and even if you looked gorgeous she's still going to find a flaw and tell her friends about that. You know she won't say that you're gorgeous and perfect. I would want my ex to always wonder about the one who got away and this encounter would kinda ruin that for me.
27Well, his ex is, well, ugly. A bit rude of me to say that but there is no contest. I look better than her on my worst day and her best day.
