We all have those days when we feel a little down and out. It's totally normal to wake up on the wrong side of the bed every once in a while, but it's key not to let the blues get the best of you, although that's often easier said than done! When I need a quick fix, buying something new always turns my day around. I know it's not the most savvy method, but it works for me! Since we are all different, do tell ladies, what's your remedy when you need an instant confidence booster to lift your mood?

1hmm..I like to go buy new shoes, shoes never fail to make me feel better. As for healthy ways, Sometimes I just wait until I get home from work, because it never fails that my BF will tell me that I look hot or give some sort of compliment when I get home. (he loves it when Im all dressed up in my "business attire") I also like to write (poems, short stories or just writing my thoughts down on paper helps too). I also like to read motivating poetry....heres one poem that I like to read when Im having a one of those days..i posted it on another thread as well...it usually makes me feel better.

I don't even have to say anything, every night I come home he makes a big fuss cause it's the first he's seen me dressed that day since he leaves before I get out of bed in the morning. Whenever we play hide and seek someone always hides in a ridiculous spot with their legs or arms sticking out and all you can do is laugh hysterically. Someone is always under the blanket giggling. It's just FUN it puts my life into perspective and helps me remember why i am here. AND it always ends in "mom-you're the greatest"

I start off with annoying my can mates by taking a looong shower (I feel completely justified because they never clean the bathroom), use my TIGI hair mask, a pretty smelling body lotion, then spend longer than usual primping and deciding what to wear. Then when I head out for the day, I've got the "Yeah, I'm hot" thing going on.
13Or, if all else fails, I curl up with a good book and some popcorn and ignore the world.

15When Im feeling blue I .......eat chocolate haggen daz ice cream,listen to music OR paintin my artbook.
I never run from sadness I think its good to have at least one day a month(usually around my period) when u can be completely pessimistic and miserable. When these days come I really purge all of the negative emotions i've been building up.
16go outside to the park and hoop to "Red Alert" by basement jaxx. or just force myself to go take a walk outside with some upbeat music.
17i like to window shop and if i have a lil money i will get somthing small for myself. i also exercise!!! thats what REALLY works.
18Watching a good romantic comedy usually does it. Or lately (since there really haven't been a lot of good romance comedies since "When Harry Met Sally") I've been watching a lot of teen dance movies, like "Step Up" and "Step Up 2 the Streets" and "Center Stage." Something about the dancing makes me happy.
19if i wake up in a sh*tty mood (which is rare), i put on my "Happy" playlist on my laptop,which consists of "Over The Hills And Far Away" by Led Zeppelin. i shower and what not, and i go into my closet and pick out something that makes me feel hot.
other than that, if i'm in a bad mood, you're just gonna have to deal with me being pissed for a bit. i usually get over things kinda fast.

Anyway, to feel more confident, I put on my most flattering and favorite outfit of the moment and go out with the girls. Then I flirt with a hot guy or two, make them wish they had me, and go home at the end of the night to my man.
Or, like others have said, I can just spend time with my fiance and he always tells me I'm hot no matter how bad I think I look.
