The following story was yesterday's headline of the day, but this live-action news coverage is too good to pass up. Injuries caused by walking while texting are on the rise and a London charity has decided to do something about it. That is, they're padding lamp posts located along the "most dangerous" texting streets. The story is absurd, but the highly informative footage of peeps "accidentally" walking into street fixtures and poles really amps the entertainment value here. Hard-hitting news, eh?

This is absurd, so I find it very appropriate that one of the interviewees used the phrase "higgledy piggledly." I should say that more often.
1whatever! if people are hurting themselves this way, they deserve it. and how tacky to wrap the polls...
2is this real? just don't walk and text if you can't!!!
3I was thinking the same thing Nancita! I have to find a way to incorporate higgledy piggledly into my every day vocabulary. Fierce!
4Wouldn't it be easier if they just wrapped everything in bubble wrap?
5or....
people could just stand still while texting. how long can a text be, anyway?

6Maybe they should just tell people to look where they're going like my mother did and they would never do it again after hearing her voice a couple times. Maybe I should ask my mother to help with the crisis.
