We are now in the seventh season of American Idol, which means we've been witness to the love/hate relationship between Ryan, Paula, Randy, and Simon for seven years already! Just yesterday, Simon was on Live With Regis and Kelly talking candidly about his friendship with Ryan — comparing his need to always please to a Chihuahua — harsh, but quite funny! The show wouldn't be what it is today without their constant bickering, and although most of it is all in good fun, part of me thinks they really do love to hate each other and hate to love each other. That kind of relationship isn't uncommon so ladies, let me ask you, do you have any love/hate relationships?

I think many of us do.
Oh yeah I have quite a few!
sure do. I think it's healthy
Naw... Not me. If I hate I want you outta my life...
None that I can think of at the moment. If I don't like someone, I don't like having them around me because it only adds to my stress levels.
Honestly, I am a person who either likes you or not. I am nto going to stress myself out trying to be someones friend if they seem to not liek ebing around me. I had a few gf's like this in the past and have given up on those friendships because it was JUST NOT WORTH IT!

I can't really think of any love/hate relationships off hand. I'm sure I've had them.
I had a best friend who I had a love/hate thing with. now I just hate her, I realized her true colors and I am so glad I don't have to deal with her anymore.
I have one, but I kind of think it's like a very unhealthy romantic relationship. She just does things that friends really shouldn't do, and then somehow weasles her way back in to my life after a few months have passed. I'm pretty easy-going and don't hold a grudge, which almost always works in my favor with friendships, except in this case, I really wish I could just dump her for good!
Yes......Just one, with my younger sister. Sometimes she can be a real a$$hat and every once in a while I wish i could forget that she was my sister.
Haha, I'm with you, vmruby! My sis can be the same way, I love her..she can be cool on occasion but not often enough.
Snowbunny11, I have had that with a "friend" and I think you should keep it neutral and distant until you can faze her out.
Those people on American Idol are acting that way for t.v., to get us to watch. I don't think it's real, it's like acting.
...this woman was manipulating me and trying to control me, and we were both married, but very much like a boyfriend. Your comment struck me b/c I went through the same thing. I liked her and thought she was fun but I realized what was going on and had to get away.
I'm so glad you changed the Chihuahua. I couldn't comment at work, but I so wanted to...
Just one. It's complicated.
