Here we go again!
1What does everyone think about the picture of Obama in his "outfit"?
2I kind of can't believe this is happening again! I feel like I'm living in Groundhog Day!
3Hollar ... well maybe not just got home from school really tired. Im sick of it too... last night my English class turned into a political debate... dont get me wrong I love a good debate and speaking my mind but this election has got me constantly defending my belief as if Im running for President *rotfl* Could you imagine President Betty here oh it would be SUPER!!!
4Can you believe they have had 20 debates! 20?!?!?!?!!!
The general election hasn't even begun!
I don't know what they will talk about tonight that hasn't already been beaten into the ground. Since it is the last one, I expect it to be pretty nasty. Ugh.
I just hope they remember that when it comes down to it, they are on the same team. Hopefully no one will be so desperate as to sink the November election for all democrats.
Crossing my fingers, hoping things stay truthful and accurate...but not holding my breath.
5I'll be watching!
6I hope Obama lets that hag have it!
I can't stand that...thing!
She is horrible!
Jillness, I'm with you. 20!!!?? I guess the stakes are the highest this time around!
7Hi Hootie! Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to call out candidates on positions or comments throughout the debate. But, let's keep it civil everyone.
8gooooo obama!!
9I wish I could be on Citizen during the debate! I need to get to the gym right after work, so I will have to watch it later tonight.
I will think of my work out as my contribution to the debate...preventative medicine to help BOTH of their health care plans!
10Oh my gosh, Jillness! That stairmastering smiley is phenomenal!
11Wow! They are playing the tone-montage to her face?
121. Brian Williams looks old as the hills tonight.
132. Why no rules? I love rules in a debate. Sigh.
I'm watching. This will be interesting.
14Ooh it's too bad Jillness isn't here--I forgot to tell her my mission for the debate tonight was to find common ground with Obama!
15no chat room? just comments?
16i love that barack cannot say "massachusetts"... EVERY TIME!
hehehe
17Yeah, we like to hang out right here! That way people can come and go or just glean an idea of the debate from reading through everyone's responses. Join us!
18I can't watch it, you guys have to give me updates! Jillness(if you come back): how did you get that stairmaster fantasticness? It was wonderful
19Hillary has a strong, pure argument on healthcare.
20Wow, that was a very civil yet firm description she had of their health care differences.
21Oh no precious p. I'm afraid you're right re: Massachusetts!
22mass-a-tooo-setts!
23I caught it that time
24Huh? I don't get it. What's going on with the Mass?
25I wonder what their pre-game rituals are for these debates. Like a weird warm-up or a song...or a cocktail...
26Oh Obama says it peculiarly. That's all
27Hillary knows what she is talking about. Barack is not giving any substantial information about his plan.
28Ah-ha.
29He does seem a little rattled.
30i know this is so anti-democratic of me, but i am so tired of this issue. i understand their differences, but i am still uneasy with hillary's approach of "forcing" everyone into healthcare even though i understand why hillary says she wants to prevent the insured paying for the uninsured's ER costs. we, as citizens, are not going to get the empirical evidence regarding their two health plans and how affordable each of them will be and it seems like that is the bottom line.
p.s. they seem a lot less friendly this time around.
31Wow. She is getting her answer out come hell or high water. Good for her.
32They probably have some sort of motivational huddle like football teams or musicians before a concert
33Whoa. What was that first question thing all about?
34yikes, HILLS! ticking time bomb, much?
35I think Hillary has a lot of good substantive policy points. But, is anyone absorbing it at this point? Is it too late for her?
36Oh, Hillary — complaining about being asked questions before Obama does not look good. It's just petty.
37I wonder what the rating are for this debate.
38I'm not crazy about her SNL comment. If she really didn't mind fielding the first question, why bring it up?
39She did?
40It's got to be a bit intimidating to debate Clinton. Do you guys think Obama does a good job keeping his cool?
41barack is speaking much better tonight than in austin. but he looks so sleepy. hillary is starting to scare me with that crazy eye of hers.
42I wish they'd ask her how she's going to enforce the mandate -- it's going to cost a ridiculous amount of money to create and maintain an efficient agency/bureau to do that.
And she hasn't said whether this mandate will take into consideration the person with a large salary who has sends money to support relatives in other countries? or the family with a bunch of kids who want to send their children to private school for religious reasons (granted, they probably have health insurance, but still)... I'm not thrilled with the idea of the government determining what I can and cannot afford -- or what I need to do with my salary -- and penalizing me for not doing it.
43They both look exhausted — bet they would kill for 8 hours' worth of sleep.
It's Timmeh time!
44These guys must be TIRED after all this campaigning. I'm tired just from looking at it.
45Hillary looks so angry and it's really hard to take her seriously when she is acting so defensive.
46Liberty, considering HIllary's recent outburst, I was just thinking about how I appreciate Barack's cool and collected-ness. While sometimes he seems to come off as being cold and distant, I think he is just taking the time to evaluate the situation and choosing his words carefully.
47Hillary just needs to take a deep breath. I want to concentrate on her policy points, but her tone is so distracting!
48Yes Liberty haha that's what I was trying to say (about her tone) I just couldn't come up with the right words!
49Man, Timmy doesn't let anyone go.
