Serbian protesters have broken into the US embassy in Belgrade following a mass protest against Kosovo's independence. The demonstrators have set fire to the building's facade and have taken down the US flag and burnt it in anger over US support for the new nation of Kosovo. A reported 150,000 people took part in the protest rally.
Russia and China, among other nations, have condemned Kosovo's declaration of independence, saying it sets a precedent that separatist groups around the world will seek to emulate. No injuries have been reported in the incident as the building was closed and evacuated.

5Serbia should really butt out! After everything that's happened to the Kosovans they deserve independence.
6Oh my goodness! Was the US embassy the only one targeted? I know other nations have voiced support for Kosovo.
7The Russians has caused so many problems in this area that they shouldn't have said anything. Now is the time to focus on peace and not drum up support for more violence in the area.
8Just glad everyone got out safely, hopefully we would have heard if there were American casualties.
Side note: Reminiscent of an episode of The Unit where people were warring with each other and the guys had to get everyone out of the embassy.
