Okay, usually when articles clock in the thousands of words, I...start skimming? That did not happen with this exclusive interview with John McCain's Navy son Jack. Scout.com sat down this week with the hopeful first son, and talked about everything from girls to demerits. Here are some choice comparisons Jack made between father and son:
My dad told me there is one thing McCain’s are good at and that is not giving into pressure, and honor – keeping our honor regardless of what happens. He then said, ‘Don’t lie, cheat or steal – anything else is fair game.
I enjoy [campaigning] very much. But [my dad] keeps a schedule – I mean I’m 21 and go to the Naval Academy and he outruns me with no problem.
And what of that fabled McCain temper?

Growing up, if I screwed up, I’d know it. He was never cruel about anything. He never got overly angry. He was always level-headed. It cracks me up when I hear about this [alleged] crazy temper because I’ve lived with him for almost 22 years and I’ve never seen it.
I suppose the argument could be made that hot subject matter = prolonged attention span, but I'll let you be the judge of that.

DAMN! That is a good looking young man.
1Wack, that's what I was thinking too! Whatevs though, MY sailor is even better looking.
2Well he is better looking then his father...tee hee
3have you seen pictures of john mccain from the 70s? he was a hottie then.
4I love how his father has no room to talk to him in regards to GPA and demerits. His dad even joked about doing some DNA testing because he had stayed out of trouble for so long.
5this boy is a ladykiller, i can tell.
6The McCain kids seem so down-to-earth; from what I've read, I really like them. Meghan McCain's blog is so cute. (OK, it's not serious, politically, but it gives you a fun look in to the everyday happenings on the campaign trail.)
7DAMN he is HOT!
8I saw a story recently in local Boston news. A plane full of Marines were coming home from Iraq to California. Apparently there was something wrong with the plane, and they had to land in NH. People came out to make them food and give them calling cards. There was this one young man that refused to talk to the cameras, but gave a smile and a wave. It was Jack McCain. I got chills, I didn't even know that he was in Iraq. I must admit I don't listen to debates or anything. But I watch the news. I couldn't believe that McCain was so classy as to not exploit his son being in the War for his own personal gain
9That family has good genes.
10oooo HOTTIE!!
11WOW
nice.
12I'm pretty psyched about the prospect of having a president who won't be challenged with questions like "Yeah, well, what if YOUR kid was in Iraq?"
13He's cuuuuute!
14My what big teeth you have lol.
15Good point, foxie!
16I would go Republican for him.
17The McCain family deserves a lot of credit for honoring this country w/ their service. It says a lot about all of them. This is a great interview and I think a must read for every interested voter. Good for Citizen Sugar for posting it!
18He went to my brother school! Along with his younger brother Jimmy. He is one hot piece.
