Do you remember when the little boy who had a crush on you would pull your hair on the playground? Well that kind flirting is prevalent in adult relationships, too. Sure, a little playful teasing can be endearing, but if you don't have thick skin, or if you didn't grow up with older siblings making fun of you, being the brunt of someone's jokes can sometimes be hard to take. So ladies, do tell, do you like it when your boyfriend teases you or do you think poking fun should be left to the guys?

3My BF and I tease eachother all the time. Im sure people seeing it from the outside think we are seriously disfunctional, but we both have pretty tough skin and we can both dish it with the best of them. We tell the other when its gone to far, and when it does we stop and apologize. But it usually takes alot for one of us to get our feelings hurt, as we undertand that it is simply teasing. We dont bring the teasing into fights. (I would never tell him that he has big ears out of anger, and he would never tell me to get breast implants to hurt my feelings.) I know I have small boobs, and he knows his ears are kinda big, but we are both ok with who we are and we know that we still love each other, even if my butt doesnt fit into some of my jeans anymore, or if hes getting a little bit of a beer belly.. so its ok to tease eachother about it.

I can take teasing too, most of the time. There are some things that I'm kind of sensitive about.
7I use to tease my ex boyfriend all the time, so getting it from him doesn't hurt either. It all depends on how comfortable you feel with your partner. For example I have a huge bottom and wish it were smaller, whenever I tease him he calls me "big ass" which I find funny.

I love teasing! My whole family teases each other all the time, so it feels comfortable when it happens in relationships too. Of course, if it's a really sensitive subject the person should know when to stop, but that goes for everyone, not just people in relationships. So as long as it's kept light and the significant other knows how to be serious sometimes, I think teasing's all good!
19Have to say that I am not really into the teasing thing. Growing up as an only child I never really experienced it and the few things I was teased about really did a number on my self esteem. I think I am just sort of emotional/sensitive and don't do well with it. I still get nervous wearing shorts since being called 'chicken legs' for so many years.
20I grew up with an older brother, had mostly male friends in high school, went to bars with the guys in college, and lived with three male roommates after college. I'm SO used to the teasing. I usually dish it back.

25Oh man, my BF hast been teasing me since our first date 4 years ago!!! He always makes fun of me, but I just laugh it off... No big deal. He's so funny that I don't mind laughing at myself.
