Viggo Mortensen is in the Oscar race for best actor in Eastern Promises and I can't wait to see him again on the red carpet. I've been a fan of his since A Perfect Murder, and although he hasn't aged as gracefully as I'd hoped, he's still pretty sexy if you ask me! There's something very mysterious about him that keeps me intrigued. I have a feeling he's an acquired taste so ladies, tell me, would you do, dump or marry Viggo Mortensen?

Oh I love me some Viggo! He's such an interesting person. He writes awful poetry and sings terribly, but he's a fantastic photographer and actor, and I believe he paints as well. He really is one of those people who is truly in love with art - who sees beauty and meaning in everything.

I just think we would have great sex and then talk about something fascinating. (In my fantasy he's not like the other 10 billion men in the world who just want to roll over and go to sleep).

Terrible picture of him, but I picked marry. From what I know of his interests in acting, photography, painting, music, and poetry, he sounds like a really interesting guy. Also, he's supposedly an excellent rider and got so attached to his horse from the LotR movies that he bought him. Speaking as a former (and hopefully future) rider myself, that makes me melt. Smiling

I agree w/ girlfriday and KerryG, Viggo is definately marriage material. A modern day Renassaince man. And as to him not aging gracefully, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. C'mon, the man is almost 50 years old and looks great!. At least he's not jumping on that awful plastic surgery bandwagon (that I know of) like so many of his comtemporaries. He's a beautiful person, inside and out.

I think that he has gotten better looking as he's gotten older. I love the beard but wouldn't want him to keep it all of the time. I think he is definitely DO-ABLE... I bet he'd be a lot of fun too! As for marrying him... I just don't know. My hubby is the love of my life and so are our children. If anything happened to my hubby, I don't know that I'd marry again... date yes... "Do" Viggo YES but... marry I just don't know.

You had to ask? He's gorgeous! And for the record, the beard is for his next movie, "The Road" which begins filming very soon. So don't expect it to disappear for a while. But yeah, he's definitely hot.

I love the fact that he is Danish and proud of it and for that reason alone I'd marry him. lol.. But on top of that he is extremely talented and SEXY!!
I know his aunt in Denmark and she just adores him so much.. And the fact that he visits her in Denmark at least once a year makes him so much more dreamy in my eyes Laughing out loud
