The tight Democratic race and Washington State's 78 pledged delegates lured heavy campaigning this week by both Clinton and Obama, but the caucus votes are being counted, and Obama is projected to finish on top. After a close race, John McCain claimed the top spot in Washington, his only victory of the day.

Congrats to Mr. Obama.
1By the way, guys, I love that you're using the State quarter thing. Very clever.
2Go Obama!
3Thanks for noticing the quarters! I live with a numismatist--okay, a coin collector
4Barack the vote!
5I caucused for Hillary today. I really am on the fence and thought by going the Hil route that I could get the Obama folks to tell me why I should pick one or the other. I figured if I went straight for him I wouldn't learn anything new as I was sure that my precinct was mostly Obama. We had some really good discussions and both sides made great cases. I learned a lot about the system, the candidates, and ultimately what really mattered to me. I was shocked to get so emotional about some issues in front of folks I don't know. It was a great experience. The place was PACKED to the gills. It took almost an hour before everyone was even signed in!
6Yes we can!
7Does anyone even live in Washington anymore?
8kiddy that is great! I think it is such a good thing when citizens discuss the issues in a respectful way!
9I love the coin thing, too! Very clever.
Congrats again, Obama.
