Every year on Valentine's Day, my parents eat dinner at In-N-Out and head straight to Krispy Kreme for dessert. Their tradition started out as a joke, but they had so much fun the first year they did it, they haven't skipped a year since! Now I'm sure not many people are as random as my parents, but I wouldn't be surprised if others have Valentine's Day traditions too, so ladies, do tell, what's yours?

I don't have one!
1Nope.
2Awww! I want to start one now.
3Perhaps TMI, but I started a tradition years ago when I was a single gal. The 14th is my reminder for my annual girly check-up.
This year me and my newlywed hubby plan to go for a sunset run and eat a picnic dinner afterwards.
4No, we don't have a Valentine's Day tradition. Not to sound like a Debbie Downer, but I really think it's a silly Hallmark holiday... so we don't celebrate it! You shouldn't need a day on the calendar to tell you to show your SO love; that should occur every day naturally. Just my opinion
5My boyfriend and I have a tradition of doing something decidedly un-Valentine's Dayish. We always go out with a group of friends, both in relationships and not, to someplace unromantic. This year, we're going bowling! Unfortunately, we're not QUITE as set in our traditions as your parents, but hopefully someday!
6My fiancé and I started a tradition last year that we plan to keep. A small, under the radar, but very good restaurant down the street from my apartment runs a special Valentine's Day menu every year filled with wonderful and interesting food that we use Valentine's Day as an excuse to splurge for!
7He cooks a 3 course meal, I eat a 3 course meal. Works well for us
8I cook a romantic dinner for the 2 of us.
9my boyfriend and i never know where to go for valentine's day.
10We make our presents and depending on our moods, we both contribute to a favorite-dinner making session. Plus, we buy a bag of candy that we each like, or ice cream, or a mini-cake, cupcakes, SOMETHING, and watch a movie and eat it!
11We order KFC and get a movie, and I always buy him boxers lol
12URGH, ALL THIS VALENTINES CRAP IS SICKENING ME. ITS JUST A DAY FOR COUPLES TO RUB IT IN THE SINGLE PEOPLES FACES.
SO OVER RATED.
13He always cooks me dinner and the meal is in the shape of hearts, last year it was steak on the grill with scallops. all hearts.
14yes. homicide.
15sorry, guys. not the most cheerful person on V-day.
16well, one year i made cupcakes that spelled out "feelings are overrated." but the past couple years i've gone out to dinner with single friends and hit the bars to comisserate with the other single people.
17I just grunt and scowl and wait it out until it's over. Lol. I should lighten up though!
18I think I'll wear my ugliest clothes, not shave my legs and tell him I have a headache. I just hate Valentine's Day. And I'm lucky because my BF hates it too.
19Yes, we have a tradition. We ignore it.
Valentine's Day has become way too big with too much emphasis put on the wrong things. And I hate to say it, but it's the women who expect their men to deliver. Gee, no pressure on the poor guys.
20yeah the bf and i are pretty untraditional too. our first year together he made reservations for us at a super nice restuaratnt-like a 5 course meal. well, considering im the type of gal that will either eat everything on my plate or nothing at all (dont ask-its inheritied from the madre) I told him thanks but no thanks, save your money, and we ordered takeout and ate it on my patio with our xmas lights on (still up from two months ago-but its Austin, so thats not wierd). we've played it low key ever since nd do the same thing every year pretty much.
21We get dressed up and go out for a nice dinner, somewhere small and with a 'Valentine's menu', then get down and dirty in the backseat of his car down some back alley. Hah.
22Nothing out of the ordinary...dinner at a nice restaurant, exchange gifts, a little romance...the usual.
23I skip school and spend the day with the bf.
Bad mee but I love it.
24nope but I wish I had
25My hubby always buys me a teddy...and I wear it!
26My husband and I say to each other "Happy Spendy Day".
That's about it. And we love it.
