Will you be eating chocolate-covered strawberries and sipping champagne with your significant other this Valentine's Day? Or will you be painting the town red with your single friends and boycotting the holiday all together? I love hearing what other people do on this special day of love, so ladies do tell, what are your V-Day plans?

i'm gonna be doin tequila shots with my girlfriends!
1I'll be with my man. Drinking, eating among other things...
2haha...tequila shots....
my finace and i probably will too....but at home after a nice dinner. Then probably rock out on guitar hero.
u know...the usual. haha. We don't really DO v-day, but we at least get each other a card just to say I LOVE U.
we do this kind of stuff all the time,...we have a dry/erase board in the hallway and always leave stupid notes for each other. it's all good!
3haha!!
*fiance
MAAAAJOR typo!
4My boyfriend and I always go out to a really fancy dinner, but this year he's away on tour (still another 5 wks to go
) Still, I plan on putting on a pretty dress, making myself an big dinner of spaghetti squash alfredo with shrimp, lots of wine, and dark chocolate + strawberries for
dessert and watching a movie. SIGh...
5Hoping my boyfriend doesn't flake.
6I'm going out with my bf. We're doing dinner at the place we had our first date then I'm dragging him to a ballet b/c I have season tickets. But don't worry... it's a Frank Sinatra tribute so it should be good for him, too. And then, who knows!
7I want to hold out for a sunset run and picnic dinner like we originally planned but my guy still has a sore throat and congestion. So I'll probably cook and we'll open a bottle of Malbec he has been saving. I'll go for a run before dinner.
8Oh, after reading the post again, I remembered I had a bottle of champagne in the fridge. Forget wine! Strawberries and champagne!
9My hubby keeps it a surprise, so I don't know what we're doing yet!
10Working!! I am boycotting the holiday, as usual. Besides, my boyfriend lives 700 miles away, so even if I wanted to celebrate this ridiculous "holiday" I couldn't.
11Going for supper, watching movies, surprising my guy with one of the few desserts he'll eat, and making perogies and babka bread with my Baba.
12awww nothing
13We are both working so we are going to do it all on Sunday...
my husband and I have been together for almost 7 years, so we've has lots of "going out to dinner" dates...so this year, we are ordering pizza, breaking out some wine, and making chocolate fondue! I'm really looking forward to it:)
14just the two of us, both with the flu, in bed watching dvds
15My boyfriend lives a few hours away (since I'm up at school), and he works 8-5 and then goes to class from 6-10. So yeah, I'm not doing anything! But that's okay.
16lol looks like everyone's either totally doing it up or not doing anything at all!
17me? i will be working during the day then coming home and packing for my trip to cuba, then i have a tanning appointment at 8pm. hopefully i'll be able to talk to the bf on the phone at some point, but i'll see him saturday at the airport!
i'm getting my second hpv shot and going to the dentist. what a fun day it'll be!
18Dinner out with friends at a nice restaurant, to celebrate our singleness rather than mourn it.
19dunno...first valentines with hubby...hope he doesnt disappoint =|
20My boyfriend's planning something, apparently. We'll see!
21Watch a bunch of chick flicks, do some baking and try to cheer myself up. Heartbroken just before Valentine's Day..ah, great timing.
22Nothing for myself, but I am picking up some cute valentine treats for my 3 nieces. I am sure they will love it and it will be better to focus on them and not on my lack of boyfriend issues.
23thursday night my bf and i are going to dinner at a local diner. then saturday we've got tickets to see Clay Aiken in Spamalot!!
24My hubby and I are going to make dinner and eat on our fine china that we haven't used yet and we have been married almost 2 years. Light some candles and drink champagne
25I'll be writing a 10 page essay. My significant other is living in another city. I'm in a bad mood and feel terrible I didn't send him a card, figuring I'd see him Sunday when he comes to visit me. Well Happy V-Day to you all in advance! Hope everything is sweet. Gonna get some chocolate so I can write that essay...
26Going to Queensryche concert at HOB with my fiance. We got to concerts all the time so, I guess it's not really anything special, which is fine with me!
27jessmae22-cute idea!!
my bf and i are going to a fancy latin american restaurant, then who knows...probably eat the brownies i plan to make for him! oh, and for the past couple of years, i usually buy one of those cute "couple's question books" and we fill some of that out for fun.
we try to do something special because today's our 4th anniversary and tomorrow's the big V-day! fun fun!
except boooo to getting up early on friday and giving a 30 minute presentation!
28I am going out to dinner with a group of single friends, a mix of males and females.
29Been married 24 years and always look forward to VD. We just went grocery shopping for a dinner of fish, veggies and tiramisu. All new recipes - we love to cook. Then, you all know.....
30Dinner at a fabulous restaurant...and probably cuddling and watching a movie after.
31we are going to the penguins/hurricanes hockey game here in raleigh. yay for our hometown pens making a visit! and then we are doing a nice dinner out friday night.
32A group of about six of us girls are going to go to dinner and then two movies ("Definitely, Maybe" and "Step It Up 2").
33My husband is a corporate lawyer, and he's going to be busy... I'm lucky, though, because he's coming home early tonight, so I'm making Coq au Vin and we're drinking wine together!
34i'm going to go out to dinner with my sister! haha, we're both single so we're just going to celebrate together.
35Class until 8pm, then dinner and passing out for the night. It's crazy for me to think that this time last year I was engaged (since then I broke it off). I can honestly say that I am the happiest I have ever been and I am completely and utterly single.
36Me, homemade dark chocolate truffles, and a bottle of red wine...Can't ask for more!
37I have a gyno appointment and my boyfriend has the flu. So, I'll be making making a nice dinner and watching dvds on the couch!
38No dates, I'm just watching Season 5 of Scrubs on DVD and maybe order some pizza. Haha!
39I'm with KrEnelk ...I'm going clubbing with some friends...hopefully there will be shots involved.
40We'll probably be sitting on the couch, watching a movie, eating a box of chocolates I picked out that he bought with our joint checking account.
Needless to say, we don't really do valentine's day.

42Going out with my best gals!!
43My plans suck. My boyfriend is living in another country at the moment, so instead of having a romantic dinner with him, I'm going, with a few other law students, to have dinner with the partner of a big law firm in order to do some potentially useful networking. How sad!!!
44I am heartbroken but feel like I cannot show it.
45My bf of 4 years is not acknowledging v-day this year. he says it too commercialized and why should this day be pinned and forced on people to buy their SO stuff. He said that's all it is.
And, stupid me, I agreed with him. And while he is right to an extent, I feel left out of the celebrations and almost feel like :what he doesn't love me enough to even get me a flower"?.
I am hurt, but he doesn't know. VERY hurt. At work, crying right now. I know him, and there will be no surprise, he really means it.
running a stupid valentines video-gram thing for the tv station i help with... and then probably getting drunk and watching lifetime.
damn.
46Well, we just stay inside and make love and eat chocolate covered strawberries. That's all I want. Although this year, the hubby is sick with a flu, so maybe no nookie today.
47Watching my new Buffy season and hopefully renting a good movie
48Today's also my anniversary, but it was impossible to get a reservation anywhere today. So we had to celebrate Valentine's Day yesterday!
49i'm not religious, so st. valentine will just have to be overlooked.
