What's a suicide voter?
1Oh, Ok. I get it. I read it again. Never mind.
2A republican who is going to vote for Hillary instead of McCain. Basically because he is so liberal and is really dividing the party right now.
3I agree that the tie in the Democratic race is a good thing. I don't like the "winner take all" electoral system. It should be proportionate to votes.
4"I don't like the "winner take all" electoral system."
I agree. It doesn't seem to reflect the true intention of the votes.
I also think it is weird in some states where the delegates aren't in ratio to the votes. In Minnesota Obama got 67% of the vote to Hillary's 32%. He ended up getting 4 delegates to her 3. That doesn't seem right!
5Isn't there something about each part of the state? Like, if one candidate wins a more populous area of the state, they might get more delegates even if their overall percentages don't reflect that. I think that's how it works, but I'm not sure.
6I honestly believe that both Dems could be great presidents. I wonder if alot of people think that.
7I think that is how it works Princesskitty, but I don't really think that is fair. It makes the location of your vote matter more than your actual vote.
8janneth, I think more people feel that way then we think.
9Wow, Ok I read news everyday, always tuned to CNN when home, and this admission of waterboarding was completely, and sadly, a blip in the national news.
Earlier this week, I read an article on Citizen Sugar about voting for McCain and CS made a point about how he "emerged from inconceivable horrors of war"; I wonder many think will be the response and perception of people being released from Gitmo or the secret prisons who have been tortured? More than likely, they will receive the same sort of reverence.
10Great point chakra_healer. That is a not-so-obvious consequence.
11How are the winner take-all states selected for the republican primaries? It just seems weird that there are like 6 states only that are winner take all. I guess to propel a candidate forward faster but it really doesn't reflect the desires of the people.
