Lately I try to buy things that contribute to causes, pet causes are my number one, so usually jewelery, or inspirational, or fun pajamas, always personalize to their love1
If I were to buy something for my BFF, I couldn't say one thing in particular! It would have to be something suited ideally for her [or] symbolic of our "friendship". A gift that would
definitely touch her heart, make her laugh [or] cry (sentimental),... based on "secrets/jokes" only WE SHARE!!!!!
I am going to buy a gift for my sister in law that has a condition that makes it almost impossible to have children. Her and my brother in law did in vitro for years with no success and now
just became pregnant. I am going to be an aunt and he is going to be such a blessing to our growing family! Also my good girlfriend just adopted a baby and I am overjoyed. And of course
without question my husband.
When buying a gift for my best friend or anyone, it should be something that has some thought put into what your going to give and something that the reciepient is going to loveand or has
expressed they wanted or liked. I go through the catalogs and keep in mind whom I'm buying for, their likes and dislikes, (including fragrances) and always am listening to what they like or
don't like and tucking it away in my memory bank for future gift giving. I like catalog shopping for it's uniqueness because I love giving a gift you don't see at every mall. Gift giving is
also a great excuse to be a little extravgent!

1If I were buying something for my best friend I'd buy flowers or jewelry. The same thing I buy for my daughters!

3A nice book and an expensive candle
4I would buy her an expensive and delicious bottle of red wine and some candles!
5a gold dipped rose!
6I'd pick something that I know she loves, but doesn't have. Often a book, or some nice lotion, or tea, or a beautiful piece of jewelry.
7I'd go through all the pages of ideas and then settle in on whatever feels right for that particular person.
8My friends love wine gadgets
